Hello, Sherill here!
I am a graphic designer and developer who’s excited about UX/UI design, motion graphics, and all things technology. Currently, I am a marketing assistant at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell.
My love for design started during my undergraduate studies in Computer Science where I discovered the joy of learning and experimenting with creative ideas, researching and conceptual design thinking to solve complex problems outside of code. My background in technology has also pushed my love for code and software development, and experimenting with AR/VR.
I have had 2 years of experience as a UX/UI Design Intern and watching a product start from the beginning, enter the production phase and finally push for development was the most satisfying part of my experience. Being able to connect with people and learn from them was also one of the highlights of my experience.
While I am approximately 9,184 miles away from home, Malaysia is never far from my heart. Local traditions and art have been an inspiration for my own work. I also find inspiration from the people around me – my peers, my friends and family – and the activities that we share together.
When I'm not designing (or coding), you can find me playing video games with friends, and experimenting with different creative outlets such as wig-styling, prop-making, and costume-making.
